This tiny D-Link N300 WiFi extender is surprisingly strong! It only boosts my 2.4ghz signal (not the 5ghz), but since 5ghz signals only travel in a straight line, and this extender is located 60 feet away through multiple interior walls, (in a one story house) and NOT in a straight line, the 2.4ghz (which doesn't travel in a straight line) is the way to go anyway.
